2Your school qualification
3When would you like to start?

No cover letter or CV needed. Everything is optional – your details go only to us.

Do I get paid during training?

Yes. During training as a registered nurse, you are entitled to an appropriate training allowance – and there are no school fees.

Which school qualification do I need?

For geriatric care assistant training, a lower secondary certificate is usually enough. For registered nurse training, e.g. an intermediate certificate (mittlere Reife) – or a lower secondary certificate plus vocational or care assistant training. Just write to us and we’ll look at it together.

Can I do a work placement first?

Absolutely – it’s actually the best start. In a school work placement, you get to know everyday care before you decide. Information and enquiries: work placement page.

Where does the training take place?

You learn the theory at the nursing school and the practice with us in home care around Lahr. Registered nurse training also includes placements in other areas – such as hospital or paediatrics.

* Applies to generalist nursing training (Nursing Professions Act, Pflegeberufegesetz). We’ll discuss available places, start dates and partner schools with you personally – these may change. The information provided by the respective school is binding.
